Wieters Gone!

In a very surprise move the Knights moved Matt Wieters yesterday. It was put out there they might be interested in moving him but really didn't expect to move him. Then the Orios owner came in with an offer we couldn't say no to. The 5th round pick we got will give me a solid bat or pitcher. Now the Knights are in VERY strong position. We now have 7 of the first 66 picks and 7 keepers.. So that means by round 5 early we have almost half our team. Still talking to a few owners about Valverde. Management thinks somebody will come in the last few hours and make a play for him. Redbirds were rumored to be interested but obviously they had their eyes on another RP. A few others were linked to Valverde. If we don't get a 4th we have no problem holding onto a RP with 30+ save possibility and a decent ERA/WHIP. knights are still entertaining moving up to the lower part of the 2nd round and don't mind adding a player and picks to get it done SP would be tops on the list..
