Offseason

The Knights have been pretty quiet so far. Still focused on other areas of life but are now starting to work towards the winter meetings.. Some of the areas to explore. We are interested in moving out of our last pick in round 1 to get more picks later. A drop to the mid 2nd isn't out of the question. Also some of the other areas to work on are moving a few players to bulk up in draft.

Carlos Lee 3/12 - He has been asked about and could be moved for the right price. Rumor has it a 2nd round pick is needed to move him but a player swap and pick swaps are possible.

Alfonso Soriano 3/11 - Another player asked about and management willing to listen to offers for. His value took a little hit but he didnt totally bust in 2010. hit almost 260 with 24HR's. Figures to imporve on those numbers. Again picks and player swaps available.

Asdrubal Cabrera 2/11 - Here is one that must go. No longer 2B eligible and Reyes locked into SS I need to move him. He isn't very expensive and will be listening to offers..

Jose Valverde - 2/11 - Not big on moving him but I will listen to offers.


That's the small list of what I am looking to do.. I can always adjust to deals thrown my way if needed. Nothing and nobody is locked in stone to staying put..
