Well the new year means once again my new run towards an unprecedented 8th playoff appearance. The next closest team has 4 appearances. With only one other team getting to the finals as much as I have and won it equally. The ES Blacksox don't make playoffs often but when they do they make it good. This year started out hot in the off season with one goal in mind. Improve in all areas of my team. We needed to get better keepers because our constant late drafting is hurting every year. So far I have made 3 unofficial trades but they are confirmed and handshake which will be formally announced on the 16th of this month. They include the following..
Storlie and Mets
Jose Reyes and Grady Sizemore and their 4th round pick come to the Mets for Derrek Lee and Hunter Pence and my 1st round pick.
Rochester Sox and Mets
Matt Wieters and Manny Ramirez come to the Mets for Brian McCann and Scott Baker and my 9th round pick.
The last trade was to unload a contract.. Mets moved Alexei Ramirez to Miracles for their 3.4 pick.
I might be making a few more moves but for the most part I accomplished what I was looking to do. That is get premium players...
